Asking prices for our .TV domains

This is a follow-up post to our previous post; “Are our domains for sale?”

Over the years we’ve received quite a few offers for our .TV domains. Instead of responding to individual pricing inquiries in the future, we have decided to publish our asking prices.

We are fully aware of what premium keyword domains in a brandable extension like .TV are worth. The asking prices are not final, but they should give interested parties an idea what price range we expect for our domains. Continue reading

Are our domains for sale?

Over the years we have received thousands of questions about our domains, brands and development plans. One of the most common question we receive is if any of our domains are for sale. Lets answer that question once and for all.

We have plans in place for all our domains. Some of the domains will be involved in promo projects, some will be developed into portals, some will be used to promote TV shows, some will be joint ventures. Because all our domains are included in our business plan, we’re not actively looking to sell any of them. However, we’re always willing to listen to reasonable offers or great business ideas.

We do currently have a few domains that are not for sale at any price: Artist.TV, Sporty.TV, Wildlife.TV and Knowledge.TV.

In the last 3 years we’ve received offers ranging from $50 to $125,000 for various .TV domains. We sold some, we kept others. If you decide to contact us with an offer, please don’t send us $50 offers. You probably won’t get a reply from us.

We just recently parted with the domain Bites.TV to a great company with a great vision. It’s already been put to good use. Good luck to them.

Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

CMS Integration and Video Solutions

As stated in our latest news release we have been in contact with multiple companies to discuss our future media and CMS requirements. We have a long list of possiblities and we will narrow the list down to 5-6 possible contenders before our tech team makes the final decision.

We still encourage other corporations to get in touch with us if they have developed a strong CMS or a rock solid video publishing solution that easily integrates with other media solutions.

We do have a few requirements that are of utmost importance to us:

* Easy integration of video and recorded shows into a media library
* The possibility to cross-reference videos between sites and channels
* Stable and functional video player (HTML5 or Flash)
* Easy to use CMS solution

Please let us know if your software solutions cover any of these requirements.
